The bamboo structure itself is incredible, blending into the natural surroundings perfectly. The view is amazing, we could see rice fields, tropical forest, and even a volcano from our room. We loved having the opportunity to enjoy the local area, and the staff were so helpful with arranging tours and transportation. Best of all, we felt so connected to nature during our stay, it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience.
The bathroom facilities were far from ideal, not as clean as it could have been. , we found the lack of privacy in the open-air rooms a bit unsettling at times.

We stayed at a guesthouse on the way to a nearby attraction. The location was peaceful with lovely views of nature. The room was cozy with good wifi, hot showers and comfortable bedding. The staff were amiable and helpful in organizing a driver and equipment rental. Breakfast was basic, but sufficient for a morning start.
The noise from outside was a bit of a hassle, with chirping frogs and distant music disturbing our sleep.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
